What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and budget requirements, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to address potential issues proactively.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring all team members are informed of project status and changes.
• Prepare and present project reports, including financial performance, timelines, and deliverables, to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality assurance throughout all project phases.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development for potential projects.
• Utilize project management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance project tracking and reporting capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the environmental or engineering sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects with complex deliverables and tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to project challenges.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
