About the role
You will own the complete lifecycle of branded merchandise strategy, ensuring that every item reflects the brand values and security standards that Binance is known for worldwide. You will collaborate with global marketing teams to translate campaign objectives into tangible product concepts that resonate with a diverse, international user base spanning over 100 countries. You will define and manage end-to-end workflows for product development, coordinating between design, legal, compliance, and logistics partners to keep projects on schedule. You will leverage data and market trends to optimize product mix, inventory levels, and distribution channels for maximum impact and cost efficiency. You will establish clear quality standards for materials and printing techniques, safeguarding the integrity of the Binance logo and visual identity across all touchpoints. You will implement robust tracking mechanisms for SKUs, forecasts, and stock movements to support transparent and auditable operations. You will mentor junior team members on best practices for brand governance, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement across merchandise initiatives.

What you'll do
Define a global merchandise roadmap that aligns with Binance marketing campaigns, user engagement goals, and regional rollout schedules.
Develop detailed product briefs that specify design, materials, quantities, and compliance requirements for each collection.
Partner with external vendors to negotiate production terms, lead time expectations, and quality benchmarks while managing cost constraints.
Implement category management processes to evaluate product performance, forecast demand, and optimize future assortments.
Establish quality assurance checkpoints at critical production stages to ensure print accuracy, material durability, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate logistics planning, including packaging design, labeling standards, and shipping workflows to support timely distribution across jurisdictions.
Create reporting dashboards that monitor inventory turnover, sell-through rates, and return metrics to guide data-driven decisions.
Lead cross-functional reviews with security, legal, and marketing to assess risk and ensure adherence to brand protection policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by documenting standard operating procedures and sharing insights from post-campaign analyses.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding merchandise timelines, approvals, and on-hand inventory status.
Champion sustainable practices where feasible, evaluating suppliers and materials that reduce environmental impact without compromising quality.
Support limited-time activations and special events by managing rapid-turnaround merchandise projects under tight deadlines.
Ensure all product documentation, including safety data sheets and labeling, meets local regulations for regions where Binance operates.
Promote a culture of collaboration by facilitating workshops and feedback sessions to align creative, operations, and compliance teams.
Requirements
You possess a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
You have a minimum of five years of experience in merchandise, product management, or a related role within a regulated industry or global marketplace.
You demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
You are fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, with additional languages being a distinct advantage.
You have hands-on experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts, budgets, and production schedules.
You are proficient in using project management tools and analytics platforms to track progress, identify risks, and report outcomes.
You have a solid understanding of compliance, anti-money laundering, and data privacy considerations relevant to financial services brands.
You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Nice to have
Experience in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or blockchain sectors, with an understanding of digital asset products and user communities.
Familiarity with security best practices for brand assets in high-risk phishing and fraud environments.
Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices for promotional products.
Practical notes
This role is full-time and remote; work hours are flexible to support collaboration across time zones.
Travel may be required to meet with vendors, attend industry events, or oversee production facilities as business needs dictate.
