BillionToOne is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee the North Atlantic region, which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. This on-site position is designed for a sales professional with over four years of experience managing sales teams within the fields of Women's Health, Prenatal Diagnostics, or Reproductive Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading regional sales efforts, building and managing a team, and promoting our innovative single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screening solutions to healthcare providers. What you'll do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the North Atlantic region, aiming to increase market penetration and brand awareness among healthcare providers.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team by recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales representatives.
- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for your team, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure achievement of goals.
- Conduct regular visits to OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal Genetic Counselors within your territory to establish relationships, understand their needs, and demonstrate the value of BillionToOne's products.
- Create customized presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits of our single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screening tests.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and areas requiring strategic adjustments.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and clinical teams to coordinate product launches, promotional campaigns, and educational initiatives within your region.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Provide feedback from the field to product development and marketing teams to inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on regional sales performance, adjusting tactics as needed to meet or exceed targets.
- Engage in logistical planning to ensure timely delivery and proper support for healthcare providers utilizing BillionToOne's testing services.
- Represent the company at regional conferences, seminars, and industry events to promote brand visibility and network with key stakeholders.
- Stay informed about developments in molecular diagnostics, genetics, and prenatal testing to effectively communicate product benefits and stay ahead of market trends.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies during sales activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of four years of experience in field sales management, specifically within molecular diagnostics, genetics, or healthcare sectors related to Women's Health, Prenatal, or Reproductive Health.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and motivating sales teams to meet or surpass sales targets.
- Prior experience working in laboratory diagnostics or clinical laboratory settings is essential.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals, with recognition such as President's Club or similar awards, indicating high performance and achievement.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage healthcare providers effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently within a startup environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market insights for strategic decision-making.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, understanding their workflows and needs.
- Willingness to travel within the territory as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Experience in consultative sales approaches, emphasizing education and logistical support to healthcare providers.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on building a new territory and team from the ground up.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- The total annual compensation package is approximately $313,209, which includes a base salary of $205,509 and uncapped commission potential, allowing high performers to significantly increase their earnings.
