BillionToOne is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager for Prenatal Diagnostics in Northern Los Angeles. This on-site position covers key areas including San Bernardino, Bakersfield, Santa Monica, Thousand Oaks, and Northern Orange County. The primary responsibility is to lead and develop a sales team dedicated to promoting our innovative single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screening tests to healthcare providers such as OBGYN clinics and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. You will play a vital role in expanding our market presence by building strong relationships with clinicians and healthcare facilities, ensuring they are well-informed about our products' benefits and capabilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, increasing product adoption, and establishing BillionToOne's reputation as a leader in prenatal diagnostics within the region.

What you'll do
- Develop a comprehensive regional sales strategy by analyzing market data, identifying opportunities, and setting clear, achievable goals to increase product adoption in Northern Los Angeles.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct in-depth product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions tailored to healthcare professionals such as OBGYNs, genetic counselors, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key healthcare providers, understanding their needs and providing solutions aligned with their clinical practice.
- Analyze sales performance metrics regularly, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and clinical teams to develop targeted messaging, promotional materials, and educational content that resonate with the regional market.
- Provide feedback from the field to the product development team to inform future product enhancements and ensure customer needs are met.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Attend regional medical conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote BillionToOne's products and expand professional relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, company policies, and ethical standards during sales activities.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training of new sales team members, sharing best practices and ensuring consistent messaging across the team.
- Monitor competitive activities within the region, staying informed about industry trends, new product launches, and market dynamics.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
- Work independently and proactively to meet sales goals, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of the company's products to effectively communicate their value propositions.
- Coordinate with clinical and laboratory teams to facilitate customer onboarding and ensure seamless integration of products into clinical workflows.

Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales management within molecular diagnostics, genetics, or related healthcare fields, with a proven track record of success.
- Established relationships and a strong network within the Northern Los Angeles region, including OBGYN clinics, genetic counselors, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
- Demonstrated success in leading and motivating sales teams, with experience in hiring, training, and performance management.
- Prior experience selling laboratory diagnostics, genetic testing, or similar healthcare solutions is essential.
- Recognition for sales achievements, such as President's Club awards or equivalent honors, indicating a high level of performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, industry trends, and market feedback, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a startup environment.
