BillionToOne is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our prenatal diagnostics sales efforts in the Great Plains region, which encompasses Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota. This on-site position involves managing and expanding our presence within this key geographic area by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, including obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and genetic counselors. As a vital member of the sales team, you will be responsible for executing strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful adoption of our innovative prenatal testing solutions. What you'll do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy tailored to the Great Plains market, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team dedicated to the prenatal diagnostics sector within the region.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to team members to ensure they are well-versed in product knowledge, sales techniques, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key healthcare providers, including obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and genetic counselors, to promote the adoption of BillionToOne's prenatal testing solutions.
- Deliver engaging and tailored presentations, product demonstrations, and educational sessions to healthcare professionals to communicate the clinical value and benefits of our products.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities, monitor competitors' activities, and adapt sales strategies accordingly to maximize growth.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop regional promotional campaigns, educational materials, and participate in industry conferences and events to increase brand awareness.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, forecast sales performance, and report progress and challenges to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, company policies, and ethical guidelines during all sales and promotional activities.
- Gather feedback from clients and field teams to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer support improvements.
- Coordinate with clinical and technical teams to facilitate product training and support for healthcare providers.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and regional market trends using CRM tools and other reporting systems.
- Actively participate in regional and national sales meetings, sharing best practices and insights to foster team growth and cohesion.
- Support new product launches and clinical initiatives by providing expert knowledge and strategic input.
- Build a strong network within the healthcare community in the Great Plains region to enhance the company's reputation and market penetration.
- Travel within the region as required to meet with clients, attend conferences, and support team activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of field sales management experience in molecular diagnostics, genetics, or related healthcare sectors, with a proven track record of success in the reproductive health or prenatal diagnostics markets.
- Established relationships with healthcare providers such as OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and genetic counselors within the Great Plains region.
- Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and motivating sales teams to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience working in laboratory diagnostics or clinical laboratory environments is essential.
- Strong strategic planning skills and the ability to execute sales initiatives effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.
- High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The compensation structure is uncapped, allowing for significant earning potential through commissions and performance incentives.
