What you'll do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at increasing our market footprint in the Gulf Coast region.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to effectively implement sales tactics and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Customize presentations and sales pitches tailored to obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and genetic counselors to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Conduct thorough analysis of sales metrics to uncover trends and competitive insights, driving sales growth within your designated territory.
- Foster strong relationships with healthcare providers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and market strategies.
- Organize and lead training sessions for the sales team to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products and sales techniques.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Participate in industry conferences and networking events to promote our products and expand professional connections.
- CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and track customer interactions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in field sales management, particularly in molecular diagnostics or genetics, with a concentration on Women's Health, Prenatal, or Reproductive Health.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to meet or exceed challenging sales goals, with strong capabilities in hiring and coaching.
- Experience in laboratory diagnostics is a must.
- A proven track record of sales achievements, including recognitions such as President's Club or similar accolades, along with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, enabling effective presentations to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with the capacity to think strategically while executing detailed plans.
- A deep understanding of the needs of healthcare providers and their teams, emphasizing a consultative sales approach.
- A strong desire to excel in a startup environment, with the ambition to grow a new territory and team.
