The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their digital transformation journey in accounts payable. What you'll do
- Identify and qualify new mid-market leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct discovery sessions to uncover specific accounts payable challenges and objectives.
- Present tailored demonstrations of BILL's Accounts Payable platform to highlight key features and value propositions.
- Develop comprehensive proposals that address client requirements and showcase return on investment.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Leverage CRM tools to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress.
- Collaborate with product specialists to address technical inquiries and refine solution offerings.
- Monitor industry trends to position BILL as a leader in automated financial operations.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure smooth onboarding and adoption of the platform.
- Analyze sales performance data to adjust strategies and achieve quarterly targets.
- Build strategic partnerships with key decision-makers across target organizations.
- Document customer feedback to inform product enhancements and future sales approaches.
- Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure seamless customer transitions.
- Represent BILL at industry events and virtual conferences to expand brand awareness.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in a Software as a Service environment.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding established sales quotas.
- A solid understanding of financial operations with a specific focus on accounts payable processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored to professional settings.
- The ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations to executive-level audiences.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in selling complex software solutions to enterprise or mid-market clients.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check if required for certain travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship for this position at this time.
