The company serves two core business areas: Services, which partners with major industry names such as Disney, Sony, Activision, and Nintendo; and Original Games, which manages flagship properties including Dead by Daylight. This role is embedded within the technical infrastructure required to support live operations across these divisions. You will own the technical backbone for a live title, operating in a cross-studio environment that includes collaboration with an external partner. The focus involves designing cloud architecture, maintaining backend services, and ensuring deployment integrity for titles released on PC and console platforms. This is a senior-level contribution that shapes cloud strategy and enforces operational standards. You will establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) foundations that support continuous live operations and external partner workflows.

What you'll do
- Translate ambiguous design requirements into precise infrastructure specifications that align with platform certification standards.
- Architect and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code patterns to support live operations and external partner integration.
- Build and refine deployment pipelines that ensure safe integration of contributions from both internal and external vendors.
- Monitor production environments, analyzing performance metrics to drive stability, security, and resilience improvements.
- Coordinate controlled deployment windows and maintain rollback readiness to safeguard live title environments during updates.
- Partner with external teams to synchronize milestones, share knowledge, and resolve technical blockers that impact delivery.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation reflecting environment states, operational procedures, and infrastructure changes for future teams.
- Review infrastructure modifications rigorously to confirm performance, stability, and compliance before promoting changes to production.
- Champion operational standards across the toolchain, enforcing best practices for configuration management and deployment automation.
- Act as a technical liaison between development, operations, and external partners to streamline workflows and reduce friction.
- Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual overhead and improve reliability in live service operations.
- Support on-call responsibilities, responding to production incidents with clarity and decisive remediation actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into actionable infrastructure tasks.
- Continuously evaluate emerging tools and methodologies to modernize the cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of three years of experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation in a professional capacity.
- Demonstrate hands-on skill with deployment tools and configuration management practices essential for live operations.
- Show the ability to manage Infrastructure as Code using established patterns and version control systems effectively.
- Prove experience working within regulated delivery cycles alongside external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities when addressing complex infrastructure issues under production constraints.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders during cross-team interactions.
