The Senior DevOps Engineer will deploy, monitor, and maintain the production environment and services, taking a holistic view of system health while ensuring platform stability and balance. You will collaborate closely with development teams to translate product requirements into reliable infrastructure, applying pragmatic engineering principles and operational discipline to automate workflows. This role requires participation in on-call responsibilities and a commitment to continuous improvement of tooling and observability. What you'll do
Work closely with Developers to provide feedback and drive operational improvements within our production infrastructure.
Develop, document, and enforce infrastructure and network best practices aligned with security and compliance requirements.
Participate in our on-call operations and monitoring pool to respond to incidents and support production services.
Document processes and procedures with the appropriate level of detail to ensure clarity, repeatability, and knowledge transfer.
Create, maintain, extend, and operate the SDLC platform used to build, test, package, and deploy our web and mobile services and applications.
Measure and optimize system performance to push our capabilities forward, get ahead of customer needs, and innovate to continually improve reliability and efficiency.
Provide primary operational support for large, distributed software applications running in production environments.
Conduct production performance and uptime analysis to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for resilience improvements.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources consistently and safely.
Automate CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery of features, improvements, and fixes while maintaining high quality and security standards.
Support the delivery of services via containers orchestrated on AWS platforms, ensuring scalability and operational health.
Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure infrastructure controls meet industry and regulatory expectations.
Utilize monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain visibility into systems and enable proactive issue resolution.
Contribute to architectural discussions that influence scalability, availability, and long-term operational sustainability.
Requirements
5+ years of administration experience with AWS services and operational practices.
5+ years of experience within a high-performance, 24x7, SRE, SysOps, or DevOps team supporting production services.
5+ years of experience with a version control system such as Git, including branch management and pull request workflows.
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages like Python or Bash to automate operational tasks and tooling.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for cloud resource management.
Working knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and Linux administration over SSH and SCP/SFTP.
Experience with build and scale AI-native infrastructure, automating CI/CD, observability, and incident response with tooling that supports modern workflows.
Experience with modern web application frameworks and container delivery to cloud platforms like AWS.
Experience with pipeline-based SDLC automation using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins Pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline.
Experience in a security and compliance-sensitive industry or environment, understanding risk and regulatory considerations.
Experience maintaining relational database systems such as PostgreSQL is a plus.
Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
Experience with MLOps practices and tooling is a preferred skill for DevOps in AI-driven environments.

Experience maintaining RDBMS systems (PostgreSQL preferred).
