What you'll do
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement effective onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Manage employee records and maintain accurate databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with data protection regulations.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening applications, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Support the development and execution of employee training programs to enhance skills and foster career growth within the organization.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters, providing timely and accurate information.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes, ensuring that feedback is collected and communicated effectively between employees and management.
- Help organize employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities and wellness programs, to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement within the organization.
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and best practices in HR management, ensuring that the company remains compliant and competitive.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR or people operations role, preferably within an apprenticeship or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in using HR software and tools, with a strong aptitude for data management and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Experience with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems.
- Familiarity with employee engagement tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of training and development best practices.
- Certification in HR management (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
