The VP, Brand Strategy role is central to our mission, as it owns the strategic foundation that uncovers a brand's sharpest point of differentiation in the healthcare landscape. This position serves as the day-to-day strategic lead for clients and internal teams, ensuring brand strategy drives sharper positioning, stronger audience connection, more effective creative work, and measurable business impact. What You'll Do
The will architect future-facing brand strategy for healthcare clients and internal stakeholders. This involves translating complex market dynamics and audience insights into clear positioning for demanding sectors. You will craft narrative frameworks that align teams and support persuasive creative development while championing strategic coherence across all touchpoints to strengthen equity and long-term growth.
Key responsibilities include guiding cross-functional teams to ensure messages resonate with precision and empathy. You will build adaptable positioning architectures that respond to evolving healthcare customer needs. The role requires partnering with advisors and commercial teams to integrate strategy into tangible programs and outcomes. You will translate complex market signals into clear direction for both commercial and public clients.
Additional critical duties include navigating ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining rigorous attention to detail. The position demands clear communication through diagrams, frameworks, and concise written narratives. You must hold authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship. Requirements
To meet the bar for the VP, Brand Strategy position at Avalere Health, candidates must bring 3-5 years of progressive brand strategy experience in complex markets. Deep experience in healthcare, life sciences, or adjacent heavily regulated sectors is essential. Demonstrated mastery in research synthesis, insight generation, and strategic storytelling is required.
Candidates must communicate clearly through diagrams, frameworks, and concise written narratives. They must navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and maintain rigorous attention to detail. Authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship is mandatory.
