In this Consultant, Policy (Vaccines) role, you own the full lifecycle of complex policy questions for vaccine clients from initial intake through final delivery and follow-up. What you'll do

You will drive multi-client policy projects from initial scoping through execution, quality assurance, and post-delivery follow-up with stakeholders. This includes architecting evidence-based regulatory and market access strategies for vaccine portfolios under strict timelines and evolving policy conditions. You will orchestrate cross-functional reviews that align legal, commercial, and scientific perspectives to ensure recommendations are robust and implementable. The role involves establishing partner playbooks that guide pricing, coverage, and reimbursement decisions across US and global health systems to create consistency and clarity. You will map stakeholder influence paths and decision-making dynamics to secure payer acceptance and provider adoption for new and existing vaccine offerings. Additional duties include coordinating intake workflows that convert complex client questions into structured research plans, decision frameworks, and actionable outputs. You will build integrated quantitative and qualitative models that forecast policy impacts on utilization, budget exposure, budget trade-offs, and patient trajectories over time. You will synthesize findings into concise briefings, executive summaries, and presentation materials that enable leaders to make timely, evidence-based decisions. Maintaining close collaboration with vaccine commercial teams and public health experts ensures insights remain practical, relevant, and aligned with client objectives. You will monitor policy developments, competitor positioning, and regulatory signals to identify emerging risks and opportunities for vaccine strategies.

Requirements

Candidates must possess three to five years of relevant experience in policy, market access, or public health within consulting or comparable roles that demand rigorous analysis and client advisory. A deep understanding of how pharmaceutical reimbursement and coverage policies shape vaccine access, uptake, and equity across different healthcare systems is essential for success in this role. You must demonstrate experience applying both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate evolving policy environments and translate findings into strategic recommendations. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates advanced analytical capability, problem-solving, and communication skills is required as a baseline for this position. You should be comfortable working with incomplete information, ambiguity, and fast-moving priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in your deliverables. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to convey complex policy concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, technical specialists, and external stakeholders. You must be able to work independently and as part of a distributed team, managing your schedule and commitments in a fully remote environment without direct supervision. Demonstrated experience navigating US federal, state, and private payer policy landscapes is expected given the focus on vaccine coverage and reimbursement. An understanding of global health policy and immunization programs is required to support multi-country strategy development and alignment. You should be comfortable using structured frameworks to assess policy risk, opportunity, and implementation feasibility in real-world contexts.

Nice to have

Prior experience in vaccine policy, market access for biologics, or public health immunization programs is preferred and will strengthen your contribution to complex client engagements. Experience supporting clients in US and global markets, including Europe and other key regions, is valued for cross-jurisdictional strategy work. Familiarity with health technology assessment processes, pricing and reimbursement negotiations, and stakeholder engagement best practices will help you accelerate impact. Experience collaborating with commercial, legal, scientific, and public health teams on integrated go-to-market strategies for vaccines is regarded as an advantage. Background in developing playbooks, decision frameworks, or scenario models to guide pricing, coverage, and uptake strategies aligns well with the expectations of this role.

Practical notes

This is a remote position based in the United States. The engagement is permanent and full-time. The compensation package ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually.
