What you'll do
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints, ensuring alignment throughout the design process.
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs and plans using advanced design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, to create detailed drawings and models.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions, considering environmental, social, and economic factors.
- Prepare and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating ideas and incorporating feedback into the design process.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of construction documents and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local building codes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into your designs.
- Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Mentor junior designers and interns, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
- Engage in community outreach and public presentations to promote architectural initiatives and gather input from local stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of design proposals and bids, showcasing Ausland's capabilities and vision to potential clients.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in a firm setting.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as needed.

- Familiarity with 3D modeling and visualization tools, such as Rhino or Lumion.
