What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to create cohesive and innovative design solutions.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for various project phases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and guiding junior staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid architectural license or the ability to obtain one in the state of Oregon is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with sustainable design certifications such as LEED or similar.
• Familiarity with construction management processes and methodologies.
