What you'll do

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for SAP S/4 HANA AVC implementations.
• Design and configure advanced variant configuration models that meet client specifications, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on the functionalities and benefits of Advanced Variant Configuration within SAP S/4 HANA.
• Develop and execute test cases to validate the configuration and functionality of the implemented solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing AVC implementations, addressing any issues that arise post-deployment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends in variant configuration, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
• Participate in pre-sales activities by assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations that showcase our AVC capabilities to potential clients.
• Mentor junior consultants and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in SAP S/4 HANA AVC.
• Contribute to the development of internal documentation and training materials to enhance team knowledge and client engagement.
• Assist in the integration of AVC solutions with other SAP modules and third-party applications, ensuring a cohesive system architecture.
• Engage in regular communication with clients to provide project updates and gather feedback, fostering strong client relationships.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA, with a focus on Advanced Variant Configuration.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing AVC solutions in a variety of industries.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration with AVC, including SD, MM, and PP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting workshops and training sessions for end-users and project teams.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and project management principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and project implementations.

Nice to have

• SAP certification in S/4 HANA or Advanced Variant Configuration.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and its integration with AVC solutions.
• Knowledge of industry-specific best practices related to variant configuration in manufacturing or retail sectors.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, particularly in a client-facing capacity.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA, particularly in the areas of Advanced Variant Configuration, Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, ABAP, and other relevant SAP technologies.
• Strong skills in data analysis, configuration management, and system integration.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.
