What you'll do

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment and materials in the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including packing lists and shipping labels, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to manage stock replenishment, ensuring that essential items are always available for operational needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in warehouse management.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, utilizing appropriate equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports for management review.
• Provide support during inventory counts and assist in the training of new staff on warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Monitor equipment condition and report any maintenance needs to ensure optimal performance of warehouse operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and processes that improve inventory management and logistics operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably within the energy sector.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data entry and reporting purposes.
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to meet operational demands.

• Experience with hazardous materials handling and compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of lean inventory practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
