What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop immersive experiences that resonate with users across various platforms.
- Design and implement interactive elements within virtual reality environments, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback, iterating on designs based on insights to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and software to create high-quality graphics, animations, and audio components for immersive experiences.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the immersive experiences sector, integrating new ideas into ongoing projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation for design processes, project specifications, and user experience guidelines to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to align project goals with audience expectations and promotional strategies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops, contributing innovative ideas that enhance the overall project vision.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Analyze project performance metrics post-launch, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues that arise during development and post-launch phases, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Engage with the gaming and immersive experiences community to network and share insights, representing Arvore at industry events and conferences.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in game design, interactive media, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices in interactive design.
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools, such as Blender or Maya, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with augmented reality (AR) technologies and their application in immersive experiences.
- Experience in project management tools like Jira or Trello, facilitating effective team collaboration.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C# or C++ to enhance technical capabilities in development.
- Background in storytelling or narrative design, contributing to the depth of immersive experiences.
- Passion for gaming and interactive media, with an understanding of current trends and audience preferences.
