What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes across the organization.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights that inform budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing actionable insights to management.
- Develop and present financial reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Support the evaluation of new business opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, by conducting financial due diligence.
- Monitor industry trends and economic factors that may impact the company's financial performance, providing recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements within the FP&A function.
- Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the gaming or technology sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and financial software tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Knowledge of the gaming industry and its financial dynamics.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable.
