Ardeneng is seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager to oversee our fire protection systems division in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the fire sprinkler division, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
- Supervise a team of technicians and installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes and local regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, and maintenance activities, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.
- Foster a culture of safety within the team, promoting best practices and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, including metrics related to project completion, safety incidents, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in fire protection systems and management practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in fire sprinkler system installation, maintenance, or operations management.
- Strong understanding of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Certification in fire protection or related field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry software and tools for project management and documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with fire alarm systems and other fire protection technologies.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the construction or engineering sectors.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards related to fire safety.
- Professional certifications such as NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) in fire protection are a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software for fire protection systems.
