The Senior Director, Total Rewards & People Operations will own the design and implementation of innovative and scalable compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs that enable the attraction and retention of top talent globally. This role owns the end-to-end strategy and execution of people operations, including HRIS, compliance, HR policies, and people data, while managing and modernizing all HR systems and processes worldwide. The hire will partner in a matrixed capacity with regional People Operations leaders at each global site to ensure consistent, locally compliant execution of total rewards and people programs, actively adopting AI and automation to reimagine how these processes are designed, delivered, and scaled. This leader will collaborate frequently with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and regional stakeholders to align people programs with business objectives.

What you'll do
Serve as the subject matter expert on total rewards, encompassing base salary, bonus programs, variable compensation, equity, recognition awards, and benefits, while also owning global People Operations responsibilities including HRIS, compliance, HR policies, and people data.
Lead and develop a team of 4 direct reports across Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and People Operations/Compliance, overseeing their career growth into advanced individual contributors, people managers, and potential successors to anticipate the evolution of the organization.
Champion the adoption of AI and automation across total rewards and People Operations, from AI-enabled compensation analysis and benchmarking to streamlined, self-service workflows, so the team can move faster and focus on higher-value strategic work.
Design competitive, attractive total rewards and benefits programs for the entire company, with a roadmap aligned to Arcadia's values and ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with all governmental regulations.
Partner closely with Finance and the business throughout the performance review process, bonus, promotions, and total rewards statement process by providing analytical, forecasting, budgeting, and structural guidance.
Collaborate with Executives and HR/Legal/Finance on our company stock and equity programs, including governance, communication, and administration, to ensure alignment and transparency across the organization.
Develop and own the global HRIS strategy, overseeing system selection, implementation, and optimization of HR platforms and data integrity to support scalable people operations.
Drive compliance and risk management across all people programs and data, ensuring consistent execution of policies and procedures in every region while maintaining a strong focus on data security and privacy.
Analyze and interpret people data and HR metrics to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and communicate insights to leadership to optimize talent outcomes and operational efficiency.
Act as a thought partner to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives, translating business needs into scalable people strategies and operating models.
Requirements
8+ years of progressively responsible experience in total rewards, people operations, or a related field, with a demonstrated history of designing and managing compensation, benefits, and HRIS programs at scale.
Strong expertise in compensation planning, benchmarking, and variable pay structures, including hands-on experience with equity and long-term incentive programs in a fast-growth environment.
Deep knowledge of HRIS platforms and global people operations systems, including implementation, data management, and integration across multiple tools and regions.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with experience managing direct reports and influencing matrixed stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Exceptional analytical skills, with fluency in data analysis, HR metrics, and visualization tools to drive evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of employment law and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, with a track record of ensuring policies and programs meet regulatory requirements in the United States and internationally.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex people concepts into clear, actionable guidance for executives and cross-functional partners.
Self-driven mindset with high ownership, resilience in a fast-growth environment, and comfort navigating ambiguity while prioritizing competing demands and delivering results.
