The position supports the broader Legal & Regulatory Affairs team in maintaining a robust compliance framework across APCO's family of brands. What you'll do
Coordinating the submission, tracking, and renewal of dealer licensing and registration documentation across multiple jurisdictions. Maintaining a centralized repository of license and registration records to support audit readiness and regulatory inquiries. Reviewing consumer complaints to classify issues, identify trends, and escalate matters requiring legal or executive attention. Developing standardized response templates and workflows that ensure consistent and timely communication with customers and regulators. Performing data analysis on complaint volumes, resolution times, and licensing statuses to highlight areas for process optimization. Collaborating with technology partners to implement improvements in case management and tracking systems. Assisting in the preparation of regulatory filings and correspondence related to licensing changes or compliance reviews. Monitoring changes in state and federal regulations that could impact dealer licensing requirements or complaint handling procedures. Supporting internal audits by providing documentation, metrics, and evidence of compliance with licensing and service standards. Acting as a primary point of contact for regulators and vendors during licensing reviews or complaint investigations. Developing and maintaining checklists and status dashboards to ensure adherence to regulatory timelines and obligations. Partnering with training and operations teams to incorporate compliance feedback into dealer onboarding and performance programs.
Requirements
Demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory compliance principles as they apply to financial services and dealer operations. Possessing the ability to interpret regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines to ensure accurate implementation. Showing commitment to ethical conduct, data confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory obligations. Having experience managing documentation, tracking deadlines, and following up to ensure timely completion of compliance tasks. Exhibiting strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, regulators, and external partners. Demonstrating proficiency in using office productivity tools and learning new systems, including case management and regulatory platforms. Showing capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Displaying a collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex compliance-related issues.
