About the role
You will lead and scale a recruiting team of 4-6 people, defining the optimal structure that balances sourcers with full-cycle recruiters and technical specialists with business-focused roles to hit ambitious hiring targets. You will personally own strategic executive searches and priority Staff+ technical roles, navigating complex domains with deep engagement. You will partner closely with leadership and finance to forecast headcount needs 12-18 months ahead, ensuring recruiting resources, tools, and budget are aligned with aggressive growth plans. You will build and own the programs that define Anrok's employer brand, from content and events to referral networks and the interview experience. You will maintain an active recruiting practice while staying current on trends, technologies, and best practices through your network and continuous learning. You will leverage data to drive decisions, iterating on recruiting dashboards and infrastructure to provide real-time visibility into pipeline health, conversion metrics, and capacity planning.

- Drive proactive sourcing and outreach strategies that build a diverse, high-quality pipeline aligned with current and future role requirements.
- Evaluate hiring metrics rigorously, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and candidate quality.
- Mentor and develop recruiting team members, fostering an environment of growth, accountability, and continuous skill enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring priorities, role expectations, and candidate experience standards.
- Explore and integrate emerging recruiting technologies and AI tools, experimenting with applications that enhance sourcing, screening, and engagement workflows.
- Represent Anrok in the broader recruiting community, contributing to discussions on trends, best practices, and talent market dynamics.
- Balance operational execution with strategic planning, maintaining a steady cadence of hires while supporting long-term organizational goals.
- Synthesize complex role requirements into clear positioning and messaging that resonates with target candidates across technical and business domains.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to understand evolving needs and adjust recruiting strategies to support critical hires.
Requirements
- Bring 7+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3+ years leading recruiting teams in high-growth technology companies or within a venture capital firm.
- Cultivate curiosity and a commitment to learning new tools, actively experimenting with AI to build real applications, workflows, or creative solutions that you can present.
- Maintain an active presence in the recruiting community, with strong networks and up-to-date knowledge of current ecosystem trends.
- Demonstrate the ability to scale recruiting teams rapidly through periods of hypergrowth, managing 2x-3x headcount increases within a year.
- Show a proven track record of hiring both technical and non-technical talent in highly competitive markets, with clear wins in executive and Staff+ engineering recruiting.
- Apply strong analytical skills, using data to drive decision-making and continuous process improvements across the recruiting lifecycle.
- Exhibit experience managing and developing recruiting talent, with a genuine focus on upleveling team skills and career trajectories.
- Operate with integrity and professionalism, ensuring compliance with Anrok's standards and protecting sensitive candidate and company information.
