What you'll do
- Identify and secure partnerships with private equity firms and technology companies that have specialized divisions dedicated to private equity.
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive referral and co-selling revenue, while consistently managing quarterly targets for sales qualified opportunities sourced through partnerships.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with leaders and operational teams within private equity firms to achieve preferred vendor status and facilitate widespread adoption across their portfolios.
- Provide training to partner teams on effectively positioning and referring Anrok, which includes creating co-branded marketing materials and referral playbooks tailored for their needs.
- Represent Anrok at industry conferences and events to network and generate new business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance the private equity strategy and optimize the performance of channel partnerships.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and identify new partnership opportunities.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in private equity, complemented by a background in SaaS partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and expanding partnerships that have resulted in substantial revenue growth.
- Proven history of achieving or surpassing performance targets in roles that involve quota responsibilities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee cross-functional initiatives and scale new programs effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, along with the ability to draft professional partnership proposals and relevant content.
- A talent for building trust and rapport with senior leaders in the industry and among partners.
- A self-motivated work ethic, capable of thriving in ambiguous and dynamic environments.

- Experience working with tax compliance software or related financial technology solutions.
- Familiarity with the private equity landscape and its associated technology ecosystems.
- Previous experience in a startup environment, particularly in a partnership or business development role.
- Knowledge of current trends and challenges within the private equity sector.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Practical notes
- This position is hybrid, requiring presence in the San Francisco office while also allowing for remote work flexibility.
- Anticipate domestic travel approximately once a month for industry events and partner meetings, providing opportunities for networking and relationship building.
- The role offers a competitive salary range of $180K to $200K OTE, along with equity and commission, reflecting the importance of this position in driving Anrok's growth in the private equity sector.
