About the role
Anrok is seeking a highly motivated Partner Manager to lead the development and expansion of our private equity and venture capital partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, building, and maintaining strategic relationships with private equity and venture capital firms, as well as technology partners that have dedicated PE arms. Your primary goal will be to drive portfolio-wide adoption of Anrok's compliance platform by creating joint go-to-market strategies, fostering strong relationships, and representing the company at industry events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence growth in a fast-paced environment backed by leading investors, including Sequoia, Index, and Khosla Ventures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS partnerships, a deep understanding of the private equity landscape, and excellent relationship-building skills.

What you'll do
- Identify, source, and recruit new partnerships with private equity and venture capital firms, focusing on those with dedicated PE arms, to align with Anrok's strategic growth objectives.
- Secure partnership agreements by negotiating terms and demonstrating the value of Anrok's compliance solutions to potential partners.
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with partners, including co-marketing campaigns, referral programs, and co-sell initiatives that generate measurable revenue and pipeline growth.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing partners by building principal-level connections with PE firm leadership and portfolio operations teams, unlocking opportunities for preferred vendor status, portfolio-wide rollouts, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with partner marketing teams to create co-marketing materials, referral playbooks, and PE-facing positioning content that effectively communicates the value proposition of Anrok's platform.
- Represent Anrok at private equity industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build a pipeline of potential partners, engage with industry leaders, and stay informed about market trends.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams - including product, marketing, and sales - to shape and refine the PE partnership strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Track, analyze, and report on partnership performance metrics, including quarterly sales-qualified opportunity (SQO) targets, to optimize initiatives and demonstrate impact.
- Provide feedback from partners to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring offerings meet the needs of PE firms and their portfolio companies.
- Support internal teams with insights and industry knowledge gained from partner interactions to enhance overall go-to-market strategies.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the private equity industry, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Assist in developing and refining partnership proposals, presentations, and other PE-facing content to ensure clarity, professionalism, and alignment with company branding.
- Engage in regular outreach and follow-up to nurture relationships, identify new opportunities, and ensure ongoing partner satisfaction.
- Travel domestically approximately once per month to meet with partners, attend industry events, and participate in strategic discussions.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the partnership program, helping to establish Anrok as a trusted vendor within the private equity ecosystem.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience working within private equity, venture capital, or related industries, with a strong understanding of how PE firms operate and make decisions.
- Proven success in sourcing, developing, and growing SaaS or technology partnerships that have resulted in significant revenue or strategic value.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales or partnership goals in a quota-carrying role.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly earn trust and credibility with senior stakeholders at PE firms, portfolio companies, and partner organizations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience crafting partnership proposals, presentations, and PE-facing content.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to execute strategic initiatives.
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately once per month for partner meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions.
- Familiarity with SaaS sales cycles, partnership models, and industry best practices.
- Strategic thinker with a self-starter attitude, capable of operating effectively in ambiguous environments and driving results with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical skills to track and interpret partnership performance data, optimize initiatives, and report on progress.
- Ability to adapt messaging and strategies to different audiences, including senior executives, portfolio operations teams, and industry peers.
