About the role
The role centers on owning technical discovery and expansion within current customer accounts to unlock new use cases and drive growth. You will act as the trusted technical advisor, aligning customer business objectives with Anrok's platform capabilities and establishing long-term strategic partnerships. This position requires transforming deep technical expertise into measurable revenue results by identifying expansion opportunities and influencing product direction. You will partner closely with Account Managers during QBRs to provide strategic insights that shape forecasting and prioritization. The role involves leading complex implementation projects, including multi-entity configurations and advanced feature deployments that accelerate time-to-value. You will maintain composure during high-pressure escalations and adjust your communication style based on the audience in real-time. By channeling technical feedback and integration requirements to Product and Engineering teams, you will serve as the Voice of the Customer and influence roadmap priorities. Ultimately, you will build reusable assets and playbooks that scale the Solutions Engineering function as the organization grows.

What you'll do
Conduct ongoing technical discovery within existing accounts to surface new use cases, geographic expansion needs, and integration opportunities.
Create technical roadmaps that directly connect stated customer objectives to specific Anrok platform capabilities and implementation paths.
Partner closely with Account Managers on expansion prioritization, account planning, and strategic decision-making sessions.
Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews by providing technical qualification and strategic insights that influence forecasting and growth initiatives.
Lead complex implementation projects, including multi-entity configurations, advanced feature deployments, and compliance-driven setups.
Create parallel workstreams to accelerate time-to-value while proactively monitoring implementation health to ensure successful outcomes.
Run live technical consultations, leading troubleshooting calls and configuration sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain composure during high-pressure escalations and adapt communication style based on the audience in real-time.
Serve as the Voice of the Customer by channeling technical feedback, integration requirements, and product gaps to Product and Engineering teams.
Manage technical escalations by owning the Technical Solutions queue for complex configurations and troubleshooting scenarios.
Maintain SLAs for response and resolution, document issues comprehensively, and escalate to Engineering with complete context to facilitate quick resolutions.
Build the playbook by creating implementation guides, expansion frameworks, and reusable assets for the Solutions Engineering team.
Mentor new team members and deliver internal training as the Solutions Engineering function scales and evolves within the organization.
Experiment with AI tools to speed documentation, testing, and the scaling of repeatable workflows within sales cycles.
Leverage modern tooling to enhance documentation quality, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency across engagements.
Requirements
Bring more than five years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect within subscription software environments.
Possess deep experience with REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, and enterprise integrations, particularly within billing, financial, or compliance software.
Default to automation, using AI and modern tooling to increase pace while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Document better and scale your impact beyond what is possible through manual effort alone.
Remain calm under pressure and be comfortable leading escalation calls while adapting your approach for different stakeholders.
Distill complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, ranging from engineering teams to C-suite executives.
Be a fast learner who quickly builds genuine domain expertise and proactively closes knowledge gaps with minimal guidance.
Bring structure to ambiguous situations, whether that involves prioritizing accounts, triaging an escalation queue, or building a process from the ground up.
Demonstrate a track record of increasing scope and responsibility, including in-seat promotions throughout your career.
Be curious and motivated to learn new tools, with evidence of experimenting with AI in work or personal projects.
