Corporate Finance Manager
Job description
About the role
This role is a high-ownership, high-visibility seat serving as a true thought partner to the Head of Finance on Anrok's most consequential financial decisions. You will turn complex financial data into a clear board-ready narrative that explains where the business is headed and why. The position involves owning Anrok's integrated corporate model, which connects revenue, cost, headcount, and cash flow into a single planning framework. You will own the end-to-end financial planning process, partnering with Accounting and business leaders to analyze budget versus actuals, resolve discrepancies, and enable rapid course correction. This is an opportunity to build the function and shape the financial systems and narratives that drive how Anrok scales, rather than merely maintaining an existing model. You will work across every department to understand how go-to-market efficiency and product cost structures impact the entire business. The ideal candidate is energized by building a finance organization from the ground up in an early-stage environment that moves at a fast pace.
Key facts
What you'll do
Support board preparation and transform raw financial data into a clear, compelling investor narrative that highlights growth trajectory and risk.
Own Anrok's corporate model, creating an integrated view of revenue, cost, headcount, and cash that underpins all strategic and operational decisions.
Lead the financial planning process end to end, collaborating with Accounting and organizational leaders to develop budget-vs-actuals analyses and drive timely course correction.
Partner with GTM, Engineering, People, and Operations teams to inform budget and COGS strategy, ensuring financial perspective is embedded in every investment decision.
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Head of Finance by evaluating capital allocation, cost structure, and operating-model scenarios that shape the company's future.
Build and deploy AI workflows for recurring corporate finance analysis using the team's AI-native tooling stack, including Omni, NetSuite, Python, and n8n, to reduce manual effort and unlock deeper insight.
Own the integration and accuracy of financial systems, ensuring NetSuite, Omni, and related tools reflect the single source of truth for corporate performance.
Analyze margin and COGS drivers in partnership with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities to win back margin across the business and the product portfolio.
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards in SQL and Python that provide timely, actionable visibility into key performance indicators for executive decision-making.
Communicate financial outcomes and recommendations to executives and the board, translating complex data into decisions that align with Anrok's growth objectives.
Contribute to the design of financial processes and controls that scale with the business, creating a foundation for sustainable growth and compliance.
Champion scenario planning and forecasting exercises that prepare the organization for multiple future states and support resilient resource allocation.
Collaborate with the Head of Finance to define and track the metrics that matter most to the board, ensuring alignment between operational performance and strategic goals.
Act as the central owner of corporate finance initiatives, coordinating cross-functional inputs to build a comprehensive and coherent financial picture of the business.
Requirements
Bring 8+ years of professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or FP&A, with a proven ability to build models from scratch and stress-test assumptions.
Demonstrate deep fluency in B2B SaaS financials, including corporate modeling, gross margin and COGS management, opex planning, and board-level metrics.
Show a strong technical foundation in three-statement modeling, GAAP accounting, and comfort with financial systems and BI tools such as NetSuite, Omni, SQL, and Python.
Have a proven track record of partnering with cross-functional leaders and executive teams to support board work and translate financial insight into actionable decisions.
Exhibit the ability to form a clear point of view and bring concise recommendations, weighing trade-offs and communicating them effectively rather than only presenting numbers.
Possess excellent communication skills, with the capacity to present to executives and the board while partnering across functions to influence decision-making.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field; a CPA or MBA is preferred but not required.
Be comfortable operating in the fast pace and ambiguity of an early-stage startup, prioritizing ruthlessly and turning ambiguous problems into structured analyses independently.
Demonstrate a strong ethical foundation and commitment to accuracy, with the discipline to build and maintain controls that ensure reliable financial reporting.
Nice to have
Demonstrated interest or experience in AI-assisted workflows and automation using tools such as Python, n8n, LLM-based tooling, or equivalent.
Experience working with high-growth SaaS companies that have navigated complex billing and compliance environments.
