What you'll do
- Support the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, detailed forecasts, and annual budgets for senior leadership review and discussion.
- Analyze financial performance data and historical trends to identify meaningful variances, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to gather inputs, assumptions, and commentary for planning cycles and business reviews.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models that accurately capture key business drivers, market assumptions, and scenario analyses.
- Present financial analysis findings and strategic insights to management through well-structured reports, presentations, and visual dashboards.
- Evaluate new business initiatives and capital projects from a financial perspective, including cost-benefit and return-on-investment assessments.
- Monitor and track key financial and operational performance indicators on a regular basis to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement and standardization of financial reporting processes, templates, and best practices across the finance team.
- Partner with operations, sales, and marketing teams to understand revenue dynamics, cost structures, and profitability drivers in detail.
- Undertake ad hoc analytical studies and special projects as directed by finance leadership to support timely decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical discipline with a track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis.
- Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis techniques applied to real-world business scenarios and planning processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related field is typically required for this position.
- Familiarity with enterprise planning tools, financial systems, or corporate performance management platforms is considered a meaningful advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and tight timelines.
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset with the initiative to identify problems and propose practical, data-informed solutions independently.
