You will own the definition and execution of workforce-centric go-to-market strategies that bridge functional expertise with commercial execution. This role requires you to lead large-scale transformation initiatives that align Anaplan's Workforce Applications with the evolving needs of our global customer base. You will act as the primary architect of workforce domain narratives, shaping how Anaplan's AI-infused platform drives optimized decision-making for complex planning challenges. Your work will ensure that our value proposition remains distinct in a crowded market by translating intricate planning concepts into compelling, customer-centric stories. You will build and leverage deep relationships within the workforce planning ecosystem to reinforce our Winning Culture of collaboration and measurable success. This position is critical for scaling adoption and ensuring our solutions deliver faster, real-time insights to industry leaders. Ultimately, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of our workforce solutions through strategic enablement and thought leadership.

You will cultivate a robust ecosystem of partners and influencers who amplify Anaplan's value proposition in the workforce domain. You will analyze complex client environments to design tailored solution architectures that leverage Anaplan's platform capabilities. You will synthesize field intelligence from discovery workshops to inform product enhancements and competitive positioning. You will represent Anaplan as a domain authority in forums that shape industry standards and best practices for workforce management. You will mentor internal stakeholders to elevate their understanding of workforce planning intricacies and applications. You will define and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of your enablement initiatives on revenue growth. You will champion innovation by exploring emerging trends and technologies that enhance workforce planning efficacy.
Requirements
You must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field of study or work experience. You must have a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in workforce planning, sales operations, or a related functional domain. You must demonstrate a proven track record of at least five years in a consultative or enablement role within the software or technology sector. You must have direct experience managing complex sales cycles that involve C-suite stakeholders and cross-functional decision committees. You must be fluent in German and possess professional written and verbal communication skills in English. You must have an in-depth understanding of workforce management processes, including demand planning, scheduling, and performance analytics. You must be adept at interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical solution specifications. You must have a history of developing and delivering training programs for internal teams and external partners. You must exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights. You must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment.
Practical notes
The role is based in Germany and requires relocation or extended local presence. Candidates must be willing to travel internationally to meet with key customers and partners as part of their strategic responsibilities. Successful applicants must be able to obtain necessary work authorization and visas for Germany without significant delay. The position demands a high degree of availability during standard business hours to collaborate with global teams and partners across different time zones. Travel expectations may include frequent visits to major European business hubs to support enterprise accounts and ecosystem initiatives. Compliance with Anaplan's internal policies regarding confidentiality and data security is mandatory for all personnel in this role. The selected candidate will be expected to participate in after-hours engagements on occasion to accommodate critical sales cycles or urgent client needs.
