What you'll do
Define and maintain a comprehensive test strategy that covers unit, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing for all software initiatives.
Create detailed test cases and test scripts based on specifications, user stories, and business requirements to ensure complete requirement coverage.
Execute manual and automated tests across development, staging, and production like environments, logging results meticulously and tracking issues to resolution.
Collaborate with developers to design testable architectures, enabling early defect detection and simplifying the debugging process for complex issues.
Automate repetitive test scenarios using industry standard tools, scripts, and frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and test reliability.
Perform performance, load, and stress testing to validate that applications meet speed, scalability, and stability expectations under demanding conditions.
Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure test coverage aligns with business objectives.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected behavior, usability issues, and potential risks that structured tests might overlook.
Maintain up to date traceability matrices that link requirements, test cases, and defects to provide clear visibility into testing progress and completion.
