Senior Cloud/IoT Applications Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will design, build, and maintain the cloud and telematics applications that power our distributed energy fleet management platform, working day to day within an Agile team. You will own the full lifecycle of cloud and IoT features from initial requirements gathering through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in a fast paced environment. You will collaborate closely with product owners, hardware engineers, and operations to translate business needs into robust, scalable application solutions. You will implement secure and reliable integrations between edge devices, cloud services, and internal tools to ensure data integrity and real time visibility. You will proactively identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks, then refine the architecture to keep the platform stable and efficient. You will mentor junior engineers on best practices for cloud development, testing, and operational excellence within the team. You will contribute to on call responsibilities to support production incidents and help maintain high availability of critical services. You will help define and improve the technical roadmap for the telematics and energy management capabilities of our platform.
