About the role
As the Onboarding Program Lead for Corporate RIA at Altruist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of new clients as they transition into our wealth management ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and enhance the onboarding processes that ensure a seamless integration for financial advisors and their clients. This position requires a blend of strategic vision and operational excellence, as you will collaborate with various teams to refine our onboarding methodologies. You will also be instrumental in gathering feedback and utilizing data to continuously improve the onboarding journey, ensuring that our clients feel supported and empowered from day one.

What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of onboarding programs tailored for corporate Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), ensuring alignment with Altruist's mission and values.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to create a cohesive onboarding experience that meets the diverse needs of our clients.
- Design and implement training materials, resources, and workshops that equip new clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively utilize Altruist's platform.
- Analyze onboarding metrics and client feedback to identify areas for improvement, adjusting processes and resources accordingly to enhance the overall experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during their onboarding journey, providing guidance and support to address any questions or concerns.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding playbook that outlines best practices, workflows, and key performance indicators for success.
- Facilitate regular check-ins with new clients to assess their progress and satisfaction, ensuring they are fully engaged and benefiting from our services.
- Leverage technology and automation to streamline onboarding processes, reducing time-to-value for clients and enhancing efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and best practices with internal teams, contributing to the overall growth and development of Altruist's offerings.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Altruist and share insights on best practices in client onboarding and engagement strategies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in client onboarding, customer success, or a similar role within the financial services or technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and improving onboarding processes, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and retention.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders alike.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in utilizing data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Familiarity with wealth management platforms, financial services regulations, and industry best practices related to client onboarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in using CRM and project management tools to track client interactions and onboarding progress.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) are a plus.
