About the role
In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing station operations by implementing comprehensive training programs focused on various aspects such as passenger services, baggage handling, aircraft handling, and cleaning procedures. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all operational standards are upheld through diligent compliance monitoring and data analysis. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing Master Trainers and Local Trainers across Allegiant's stations to maintain a high level of training consistency and effectiveness.

What you'll do
- Conduct engaging training sessions while ensuring compliance with corporate training standards.
- Evaluate and certify Ground Security Coordinators in accordance with TSA regulations.
- Oversee training compliance at designated stations, implementing intervention strategies when necessary to address identified gaps.
- Review and assess external training programs for vendor acceptance, conducting thorough gap assessments as needed.
- Develop and present training difference packages to effectively address any identified training shortfalls.
- Analyze safety data, performance metrics, and compliance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to both Allegiant and its service providers.
- Manage the certification and recertification processes for Master Trainers and Local Trainers, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance training materials and resources.
- Work closely with station management, safety and security teams, and training departments to optimize training delivery and effectiveness.
- Travel to various stations for assessments, intervention planning, and compliance reviews, ensuring training standards are consistently met.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- At least one year of experience in aviation or corporate training is essential.
- Station-specific certification is mandatory.
- A valid, unexpired driver's license is required for this role.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as per the Immigration Act of 1986.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is necessary.
- Strong analytical skills are required, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively to inform decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to facilitate group discussions comfortably.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
- A self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is crucial.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and structured thinking are required, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel 50 to 75 percent of the time to various stations, often on short notice, is expected.
- Flexibility to work across different shifts and environments, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs and push or pull up to 300 lbs is necessary.
- Ability to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and operate tools such as hand trucks, carts, ramps, and tugs is required.
- Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in environments with varying noise, temperature, wind, and light conditions is essential.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in airline training would be advantageous.
- Pursuing or holding an undergraduate degree is a plus.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in data interpretation and reporting.
- Experience in training compliance oversight.
- Familiarity with gap assessment methodologies.
