About the role
The Senior Manager, Internal Communications leads the development and execution of internal communications programs and strategies for Allegiant, ensuring that more than 9,000 Team Members across 22+ locations remain informed, engaged, connected, and aligned with company priorities. This role owns the strategy and oversight of internal communication channels, frontline and operational messaging, and change initiatives that foster a transparent, two-way environment where Team Members are heard and empowered to share feedback. The hire will act as a strategic communications partner to executive leadership, working closely with Human Resources, Culture & Engagement, and business leaders to align messaging with organizational culture and business priorities. They will coordinate closely with Corporate Communications and Investor Relations to ensure consistency across Team Member, investor, media, and external stakeholder communications. The role requires a strong focus on audience segmentation, communication analytics, and engagement measurement to continuously improve outcomes for a distributed workforce. Success in this position will be defined by the ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide communication strategies that enhance the Team Member experience and support major organizational change. The Senior Manager will serve as a senior editor, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and compelling across all internal platforms and audiences.

What you'll do
Develop and execute internal communication strategies that align with business objectives, culture priorities, and organizational goals for Allegiant's Team Members.
Support enterprise initiatives, organizational changes, and strategic priorities through effective communication planning, execution, and measurement.
Establish and maintain communication standards, messaging frameworks, editorial guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across channels.
Serve as a senior editor for internal communications, refining content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment across frontline, operational, and corporate audiences.
Partner with leaders and stakeholders to deliver timely, effective communications that support business needs and reinforce culture and values.
Manage Team Member listening programs and communication feedback channels to foster a two-way dialogue across geographically dispersed and frontline workforces.
Partner closely with the Culture & Engagement team to strengthen Allegiant's culture, values, Team Member experience, and sense of belonging through targeted communication campaigns.
Develop and execute communication campaigns that reinforce the company's vision, values, culture, and leadership principles across all locations.
Lead storytelling efforts that highlight Team Members, company achievements, operational excellence, and community impact to drive engagement and pride.
Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to support Team Member understanding and adoption of organizational changes and initiatives.
Leverage communication analytics, audience segmentation, and engagement measurement to improve communication outcomes and refine strategies.
Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Investor Relations to ensure alignment and coordination across internal and external stakeholder communications.
Support recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and company events through strategic communications planning and execution.
Advance communication technology enhancements and digital workplace initiatives to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness of internal messaging.
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to leaders across the organization, providing guidance on messaging, change communication, and audience engagement.
Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered for this role.
Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check as part of the hiring process.
Education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
No certification requirements are specified for this position.
Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in internal communications, Team Member communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications is required.
Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience managing enterprise initiatives is necessary for this role.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing enterprise-wide communication strategies is a required capability.
Experience communicating with geographically dispersed, frontline, and deskless workforces is essential.
Experience leveraging communication analytics, audience segmentation, and engagement measurement to improve outcomes is required.
Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are mandatory.
Strong understanding of Team Member engagement, culture, organizational communications, and change management is required.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, intranet platforms, survey technologies, and internal communication tools and platforms is required.
Valid/Unexpired Passport Book and Valid/Unexpired Driver's License are required documents for this position.
