About the role
Airship is looking for a bilingual professional to join our team in London to help drive customer acquisition and account expansion. This role focuses on consultative engagement, requiring you to manage both new business pipelines and upsell opportunities for our existing client base. You will work closely with Account Executives and Growth Managers to deliver our customer experience platform to the EMEA market.

What you'll do
- Prospect and qualify new accounts to build a consistent sales pipeline.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the current customer portfolio.
- Execute outbound and inbound outreach via social media, email, and phone.
- Perform discovery calls to map out customer goals and specific use cases.
- Explain the value of the Airship platform to various stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Account Executives and Growth Managers on account strategies.
- Track all sales activities, notes, and pipeline data within Salesforce.
- Partner with internal marketing and enablement teams to refine outreach messaging.
- Monitor industry shifts and competitor activity.
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in English and French, with the ability to lead discovery meetings in both languages.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in an SDR, BDR, or equivalent sales function, ideally within B2B SaaS.
- Proven history of hitting or exceeding sales activity and pipeline targets.
- Strong ability to tailor communication styles to different personas.
- High level of business curiosity and comfort with complex sales cycles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.

About the company
Airship is a category of lighter-than-air aircraft capable of powered, controlled navigation. These vehicles achieve lift through buoyancy provided by a lifting gas less dense than the surrounding atmosphere. Early dirigibles relied on hydrogen for its high lifting capacity and availability. The inherent flammability of hydrogen led to several fatal accidents that rendered hydrogen airships obsolete. Helium emerged as the safer alternative because it is non-flammable. Significant helium reserves were first discovered in the United States, limiting early helium airship operations largely to North America. Most airships built since the 1960s have used helium, though some employ hot air. The main structure of an airship is the envelope, which serves as the gasbag or contains gas-filled cells. Engines, crew accommodations, and payload are housed in a gondola suspended beneath the envelope. Airships are classified into three main types. Non-rigid airships, commonly called blimps, maintain their shape solely through internal gas pressure. Semi-rigid airships use internal pressure supplemented by a supporting structure such as a fixed keel. Rigid airships possess an outer structural framework that maintains the shape and carries all structural loads while containing lifting gas in internal cells. Rigid airships were pioneered by Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin and are often called zeppelins. Airships were the first aircraft to achieve controlled, powered flight. Their use declined after the 1940s as airplanes surpassed their capabilities. A series of high-profile accidents accelerated this decline. Since the 1960s, helium airships have served roles where extended hovering outweighs the need for speed. Common applications include advertising, tourism, camera platforms, geological surveys, and aerial observation.
