What you'll do
- Oversee the comprehensive delivery of strategic initiatives that span accounting, finance operations, and business transformation efforts.
- Convert vague business challenges into structured project plans and actionable insights that drive results.
- Work in close collaboration with Tax, Legal, Product, and Systems teams to develop solutions that are both operationally effective and scalable.
- Evaluate the implications of organizational changes on reporting, controls, and tax obligations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Design and implement finance-ready operating models tailored for new business ventures and initiatives.
- Prepare high-level decision-making documents and progress updates for senior leadership, ensuring they are well-informed.
- Establish frameworks and templates that promote consistent execution and best practices throughout the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies within finance operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic projects.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional development.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project goals align with broader organizational objectives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, finance transformation, controllership, strategic finance, or accounting operations.
- In-depth knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles, with the ability to apply these concepts to practical business challenges.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects that involve systems, governance, and business processes.
- Strong capability to distill complex information into clear, concise communications suitable for executive audiences.
- A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to dive into details to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving.
