About the role
You will lead the integration of AI and automation into our core finance operations to drive efficiency and scalability. This role involves identifying process improvement opportunities and managing the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions across our global finance functions. You will own the design and execution of initiatives that modernize how finance teams operate in a high-growth environment. The position requires a strategic mindset coupled with hands-on delivery to ensure technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes. You will act as a bridge between technical capabilities and finance needs to ensure solutions are intuitive, compliant, and scalable. This role is critical in shaping the future of finance at Agoda by embedding intelligence into everyday processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that automation not only reduces manual effort but also enhances control, transparency, and reliability.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct transformation projects for Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Use process mining, task mining, and value-stream mapping to uncover inefficiencies and risks, translating findings into actionable improvement plans.
- Evaluate and implement technologies including GenAI, machine learning, OCR/IDP, RPA, and workflow automation to solve complex finance challenges.
- Partner with Product, Data, Engineering, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to build and scale solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.
- Create business cases, project roadmaps, and benefit-tracking frameworks to ensure initiatives deliver intended value and return on investment.
- Define finance process standards, including L3/L4 documentation, ownership models, and SOPs to establish clarity and consistency across teams.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure performance, monitor progress, and guide continuous optimization.
- Manage vendor evaluations based on cost, scalability, and integration requirements to select solutions that align with long-term strategy.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital solutions, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and successful implementation.
- Drive adoption of new tools and processes by developing change management approaches that resonate with finance teams and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to standardize workflows and eliminate redundancies, enhancing control and efficiency across finance operations.
- Ensure that automation designs incorporate robust finance controls, data quality checks, and auditability to meet internal and external requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements, review solutions, and validate that implementations meet functional and technical standards.
- Support the development of a scalable process inventory and governance model to maintain visibility and accountability over finance operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Information Systems, providing a foundational understanding of business and technology principles.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance transformation, operations excellence, or process improvement consulting, with a proven ability to deliver results.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of these areas: R2R, O2C, or P2P, demonstrating familiarity with end-to-end finance processes.
- Proven track record of implementing AI use cases, including scoping, delivery, and measuring impact in production environments.
- Ability to develop business cases and transformation roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and resource constraints.
- Knowledge of finance controls, data quality, and auditability in automated environments to ensure solutions are secure and reliable.
- Experience with Business Process Management and building process inventories, including documenting, analyzing, and optimizing workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional and global teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Commitment to adhering to policies and standards, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
