About the role
About the role Agoda is hiring a commercially oriented legal counsel to support its growing flights, packages, and related travel product lines. The position blends product advisory work, consumer regulatory matters, and cross-border legal questions. You will collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, and Finance teams to guide product launches, assess legal risk, and deliver practical solutions. Key facts

Team: Legal What you'll do
Counsel internal teams on legal and regulatory topics affecting flights, packages, and adjacent travel offerings
Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts covering travel content, software services, technology licensing, product development, and other commercial deals
Offer strategic input on new travel products and feature rollouts across multiple markets
Collaborate with stakeholders to spot legal risks, align positions across teams and jurisdictions, and escalate matters when needed
Assist with disputes, complaints, consumer protection issues, and regulatory inquiries
Develop and maintain contract templates, guidance documents, and internal knowledge resources as products evolve Requirements
Qualified to practice law with 4+ years of post-qualification experience in private practice, in-house, or both
Background in product advisory work, ideally within travel, technology, e-commerce, digital platforms, or other consumer-facing or regulated sectors
Practical, proactive approach with the ability to flag issues early and guide business partners through them
Comfortable working across departments and communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels
Interest in supporting a fast-paced business where responsibilities span contracts, product launches, regulatory matters, and everyday legal problem-solving Skills & tools
