About the role
Agoda is seeking a strategic leader to join the People Development and Performance team in Bangkok. You will partner with senior executives to refine organizational effectiveness, talent identification, and performance management frameworks on a global scale. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of organizational performance initiatives that drive sustainable business impact. You will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, translating complex business challenges into targeted people strategies. The role requires you to build deep relationships across the organization to ensure interventions are relevant and impactful. You will be responsible for establishing best practices that enhance how the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Your work will directly influence the company's ability to execute its long-term vision with a high-performing and aligned workforce.

What you'll do
- Partner with senior business leaders and HR strategists to align organizational structures with evolving business objectives and market demands.
- Architect and oversee company-wide cycles for performance reviews, calibration, talent assessment, and succession planning to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Analyze organizational and performance data to identify systemic process gaps and spearhead data-driven improvements that enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team to execute both departmental and company-wide performance initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence and development.
- Represent the People Team in high-level leadership forums and coordinate with Booking Holdings brands to ensure policy harmonization and best-in-class standards.
- Translate intricate people analytics into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders, focusing on trends related to retention, engagement, and overall performance.
- Design and implement frameworks for talent review and succession planning that build bench strength and ensure business continuity.
- Drive the optimization of employee lifecycle systems and performance platforms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to diagnose organizational health issues and develop targeted interventions for improvement.
- Champion a data-led approach to people management, using insights to guide decision-making and demonstrate the value of HR initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and strategic sessions to align leadership teams on organizational design and performance expectations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on performance management, providing thought leadership and guidance to other business units.
Requirements
- Bring 12+ years of cumulative experience in internal HR partnering, organizational consulting, or talent management, with a preference for backgrounds in the tech sector or management consulting.
- Hold an Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; advanced degrees such as an MBA or related field are considered a plus.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in managing complex performance platforms and sophisticated employee lifecycle management systems.
- Exhibit a strong executive presence with the capability to communicate intricate strategies clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Operate with a high level of discretion, sound ethical judgment, and robust analytical problem-solving skills in all engagements.
- Show the ability to lead effectively through ambiguity, navigating uncertain situations with confidence and clarity.
- Manage difficult conversations with humility, flexibility, and a solutions-oriented mindset to foster constructive outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive personnel data and performance metrics.

Nice to have
Preferred candidates will have prior experience working within the hospitality or travel technology sectors, bringing relevant industry context to the role. Familiarity with regional labor regulations and best practices across Asian markets is advantageous for coordinating with the Booking Holdings network. Experience in coaching senior leaders on performance feedback and development is seen as a beneficial capability for this position.
