About the role
Adyen is seeking a Senior Strategic Growth Manager to spearhead the expansion of our financial technology platform among major merchants in the financial products vertical. You will own the end-to-end commercial strategy for high-value banking, treasury, and liquidity solutions, driving adoption and deepening strategic partnerships. This role requires navigating complex enterprise sales cycles while aligning internal cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and compelling offerings. You will architect and execute go-to-market initiatives that position our treasury and liquidity tools as mission-critical infrastructure for enterprise clients. The hire will act as a key commercial strategist, translating market demand into actionable product adoption and revenue growth. You will leverage deep market insights to refine our value proposition and ensure our solutions address evolving client pain points. Success in this position will be defined by your ability to build trusted executive relationships and establish long-term strategic partnerships that scale.

What you'll do
- Orchestrate the comprehensive sales lifecycle for financial products, from initial discovery through to contract finalization and expansion.
- Architect and present sophisticated financial solutions that integrate treasury, liquidity, and FX optimization tools for strategic merchant partners.
- Engineer and lead cross-functional workshops with Product and Commercial Strategy to design differentiated go-to-market frameworks for cash pooling and credit facilities.
- Synthesize and channel detailed market intelligence from client engagements directly to Product and Strategy teams to inform roadmap priorities.
- Champion the adoption of integrated treasury management tools by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to broaden share-of-wallet within existing accounts.
- Negotiate complex, multi-year agreements that balance commercial ambition with technical and regulatory constraints, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and business cases that quantify the value proposition of our FX optimization and liquidity suites.
- Act as the primary commercial thought partner for key strategic accounts, aligning internal resources to deliver bespoke value-creation programs.
- Drive the execution of targeted strategic projects that demonstrate the tangible impact of our financial products on client liquidity efficiency and cost reduction.
- Build and sustain an influential network within the financial services sector to identify new pipeline and validate emerging market needs.
- Establish rigorous forecasting and pipeline management practices to ensure accurate revenue predictions and proactive risk mitigation.
- Serve as an internal advocate for the strategic importance of financial products, ensuring organizational alignment and resource prioritization.
- Lead the development of commercial narratives and proof points that articulate the competitive differentiation of our treasury solutions.
- Mentor and elevate the commercial capabilities of junior team members through coaching and sharing best practices in deal strategy.
Requirements
- Possess approximately 8 years of progressive experience in commercial dealmaking within the fintech, banking, or treasury services sectors.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully closing complex, enterprise-level deals that involve multiple stakeholders and significant value.
- Exhibit deep, hands-on knowledge of liquidity management principles and treasury operations, including FX, sweeps, and credit facilities.
- Show a consistent history of influencing and persuading C-level executives and senior finance leaders in high-stakes environments.
- Have substantial experience operating effectively within cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with Product and Commercial Strategy departments.
- Display strong written and verbal communication skills capable of articulating complex financial concepts to sophisticated audiences.
- Bring a meticulous, data-driven approach to analysis, forecasting, and decision-making in a commercial context.
- Exhibit resilience and adaptability in navigating ambiguous and rapidly changing market conditions.
