What you'll do

• Design and implement responsive web applications using modern web technologies, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
• Optimize web applications for speed and scalability, ensuring high performance under varying loads.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality and improve user experience.
• Maintain and update existing web applications, implementing new features and enhancements as required.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to improve development processes.
• Document development processes, code changes, and application features for future reference and team collaboration.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of junior developers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with server-side languages such as Node.js, PHP, or Python, and familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices for responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing web applications.
• Previous experience in an Agile development environment, contributing to iterative project cycles.
• Understanding of SEO principles and their application in web development.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with back-end development using Node.js, PHP, or Python.
• Familiarity with database technologies: MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation).
• Proficient in using development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Git, and debugging tools.
