What you'll do
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of industry trade shows from initial planning through post-event analysis, ensuring seamless execution at every stage.
- Organize and execute executive roundtable discussions that bring together senior decision-makers for meaningful conversations about industry challenges and solutions.
- Manage partner activation events that strengthen relationships with strategic allies and create co-marketing opportunities.
- Plan and facilitate customer advisory board meetings that gather valuable feedback while deepening relationships with key accounts.
- Handle all logistical components including vendor negotiations, contract management, shipping coordination, speaker preparation, and crafting memorable attendee experiences.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive internal framework for event planning that includes standardized processes, budget tracking templates, and systematic post-event evaluation methods.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and executive leadership to ensure all event activities directly support revenue objectives and company priorities.
- Establish clear success metrics for each program and implement processes that guarantee effective lead capture and timely follow-up by appropriate team members.
- Identify potential obstacles before they become problems and navigate complex projects independently with minimal oversight required.
- Create detailed event playbooks that document best practices and enable consistent execution across multiple programs.
- Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks that demonstrate event ROI and pipeline contribution to stakeholders.
- Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenditures and optimizing spend to maximize impact within allocated resources.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience managing complete event and field marketing programs from conception through completion within B2B SaaS environments or rapidly scaling organizations.
- Demonstrated capability to operate independently and coordinate workflows that span multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of customer relationship management and marketing automation platforms, particularly Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure event performance, calculate return on investment, and attribute pipeline generation to specific programs.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities that enable you to build consensus and drive alignment across internal teams and external partners.
- Exceptional operational discipline with meticulous attention to even the smallest details that contribute to successful event execution.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and adaptability is essential.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Ability to travel as needed to support event execution at various locations.
- Track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results under pressure.

- Demonstrated skill in designing and executing high-touch executive programming including VIP dinner experiences and customer advisory board sessions.
- Practical experience implementing Account-Based Marketing strategies in close collaboration with sales teams to target specific high-value accounts.
- Previous success building event playbooks and measurement frameworks from the ground up in organizations without established processes.
- Understanding of the unique compliance and regulatory considerations that apply to healthcare marketing activities.
