What you'll do

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Oversee the site's quality assurance processes, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and standards before release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, regulatory affairs, and supply chain, to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations, identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and best practices for all employees at the site.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
• Lead investigations into quality incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of concern.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that the site's quality systems remain compliant and effective.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in leading quality teams and managing quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GMP, FDA, and EMA guidelines.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools, with a strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Familiarity with risk management principles and tools in a quality context.
• Previous experience in a global pharmaceutical company or a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of electronic quality management systems (eQMS).
• Certification in quality management or related fields (e.g., ASQ, ISO).
