What you'll do

• Manage and oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring that the company maintains adequate liquidity to meet its operational needs.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the company's financial practices.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial processes and systems across the organization.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
• Previous experience in a multinational company or exposure to diverse financial environments.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
