What You'll Do
- Spearhead the configuration and optimization of core ERP modules to bolster Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report processes, ensuring they operate with peak efficiency.
- Architect and implement governance rules, standards, and controls designed to fortify system reliability, compliance, and data integrity across the enterprise.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to capture and refine requirements for system enhancements, translating complex business needs into detailed system designs.
- Engineer workflows, field configurations, and report specifications that deliver actionable insights and serve the distinct needs of multiple departments simultaneously.
- Lead business users through iterative testing sessions to capture nuanced feedback and refine workflows, driving toward optimal user adoption and system performance.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and user guides that empower business users to leverage ERP functionality and new processes effectively.
- Orchestrate system releases, upgrades, and integrations with IT and external vendors, ensuring seamless execution and minimal operational disruption.
- Validate enhancements, data integrity, and system performance rigorously following go-live to confirm that solutions meet the intended business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end change management process, including the meticulous documentation of playbooks and access controls to ensure traceability and security.
- Partner with data owners to define, enforce, and monitor data governance, ownership, and validation standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all ERP and related business systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, reduce administrative burden, and enhance data accuracy through the strategic use of ERP capabilities and integrations.
- Leverage analytics tools and ERP functionalities to streamline workflows, support scalable operations, and provide clear visibility into key business metrics.
- Evaluate emerging business tools and technologies, conduct thorough pilots, and prepare data-driven recommendations aimed at improving forecasting accuracy and operational clarity.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for business systems evaluations, ensuring that all proposed solutions align with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Must possess proven, hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or NetSuite, demonstrating a history of successful implementation and optimization.
- Must exhibit a demonstrated ability to convert complex business needs into precise system designs, effectively mapping workflows, fields, and reports that balance the requirements of Finance, Accounting, Sales, HR, and Procurement.
- Must maintain a clear, in-depth understanding of how ERP modules, integrations, and data structures influence financial, operational, and reporting outcomes across the organization.
- Must excel in communication, collaborating effectively with Finance, Accounting, Sales, HR, and Procurement teams while skillfully managing priorities and expectations in a dynamic environment.
- Must adhere to strict deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
- Must ensure compliance with established governance frameworks, implementing controls that safeguard data integrity and support audit readiness.
- Must be capable of analyzing business processes, identifying gaps, and proposing system-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Must work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
