About the role
3Pillar Global partners with enterprises to build AI-native products and intelligent agents. As a Lead AI/ML Engineer, you will work within our Helix Pods delivery model to develop and deploy production-ready machine learning solutions for clients in finance, healthcare, media, and technology. You will own the end to end lifecycle of intelligent features, translating ambiguous business problems into scalable machine learning architectures. You will guide a team of data scientists and engineers, ensuring that solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with client expectations. You will act as the technical authority on AI best practices, shaping code reviews, design decisions, and delivery standards. You will mentor engineers on model deployment, debugging, and performance tuning in production environments. You will collaborate closely with product managers and clients to refine requirements and validate model outcomes. You will ensure that the solutions you deliver adhere to strict standards for reliability, security, and compliance.

What you'll do
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into precise functional machine learning solutions.
- Design and develop production grade ML models that operate reliably at scale.
- Deploy models into cloud environments and maintain them through continuous monitoring.
- Optimize model performance for accuracy, latency, and resource utilization.
- Create and update technical documentation for models, pipelines, and APIs.
- Build scalable Python code for machine learning workflows and API integrations.
- Design and run controlled experiments to measure the impact of model changes.
- Analyze complex datasets and synthesize insights for both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Track state of the art AI research and evaluate new techniques for adoption.
- Integrate selected research advancements into the HelixAI platform and product features.
- Implement data preprocessing pipelines that ensure high quality model inputs.
- Apply computer vision methods using OpenCV and NLP methods using spaCy and Hugging Face.
- Collaborate with DevOps to set up MLOps pipelines and CI/CD automation for ML releases.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Bring 2 to 4 years of professional experience building machine learning solutions.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of neural networks including CNNs, RNNs, and VAE.
- Show proficiency with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebooks, and Anaconda.
- Use visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly to communicate findings.
- Deploy applications on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering as part of model development.
- Apply understanding of AI ethics, model governance, and data privacy in solution design.
- Utilize computer vision libraries like OpenCV and NLP libraries such as spaCy and Hugging Face.
- Implement MLOps practices and configure CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code that follows software engineering best practices.
- Work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, and deadline driven environment.
- Contribute actively to knowledge sharing and peer code reviews within the team.
- Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of code quality.
