In this role, you will lead Zip's expansion into global enterprises generating $7 billion or more in annual revenue as a consultative sales professional who drives new business and manages complex deal cycles.

What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact through closing, engaging C-level executives and influencing stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT, legal, and operations teams.
- Proactively prospect and develop a strong pipeline of new enterprise opportunities, working alongside business development representatives and marketing colleagues for support.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to enterprise clients, diagnosing their procurement challenges and positioning Zip as a meaningful solution for efficiency and cost control.
- Demonstrate Zip's immediate impact while aligning the platform with each customer's long-term goals around digital transformation and operational improvement.
- Help shape Zip's sales strategy, internal processes, and team culture as one of the first sales leaders in a rapidly growing startup environment.
- Use Salesforce, Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach to organize outreach efforts and maintain a healthy, well-managed pipeline.
- Navigate lengthy and complicated deal cycles that involve many decision-makers and require building consensus at the highest levels of an organization.
- Develop deep expertise in enterprise procurement challenges so you can speak credibly with stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, and operations functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Zip, including product, engineering, and customer success, to ensure client needs are understood and addressed throughout every engagement.
- Take full ownership of your quota and career growth, thriving in a fast-paced environment where initiative and self-direction are expected each day.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years selling SaaS products, with a demonstrated history of closing large, complex enterprise deals.
- Experience selling into procurement, finance, legal, IT, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing organizations within large enterprises.
- A proven record of bringing in new customer logos at companies with 10,000 or more employees.
- Strong ability to manage sales cycles involving many stakeholders, work through formal procurement procedures, and secure buy-in from senior executives.
- A self-driven and proactive approach to work, taking responsibility for your own results without needing constant direction or oversight.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple active opportunities at once and stay organized.
- Comfort operating in a startup setting where roles shift quickly and adaptability is a daily requirement rather than an exception.
- Familiarity with enterprise buying processes and the ability to build trust with buyers across different departments and geographic regions.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working at a venture-backed startup or a high-growth company with an underdog culture and a sense of ownership.
- Background in procurement technology, spend management, or financial automation platforms that serve large enterprise customers.
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at large enterprises, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations sectors.
- Fluency in a second language beyond English, especially one common in global enterprise markets and international accounts.

- Salesforce for customer relationship management and pipeline tracking across multiple accounts and stages.
- Clari for revenue forecasting and deal visibility to keep leadership informed of pipeline health.
- ZoomInfo for prospect research and contact discovery to identify the right buyers at target accounts.
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator for targeted outreach and account mapping to build a structured prospecting strategy.
- Outreach for sales engagement and cadence management to maintain consistent follow-up with prospects.
- Strong presentation and demo skills for communicating value clearly to executive buyers and procurement stakeholders.
Practical notes
- This role is fully remote and based in the United States, with no requirement to work from a specific office or location.
- The salary range for this position is $300,000 to $350,000 in total annual compensation, determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and relevant skills.
