What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures that facilitate efficient data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.

• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align data initiatives with broader business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Engage with external vendors and partners to evaluate and implement third-party data solutions that complement our internal capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong expertise in data ingestion techniques, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services, including data lakes and data warehouses.
• Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application in data processing and analysis.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices for data solutions.
