About the role
This position defines the technical direction for customer automation on Workato. You will convert complex business objectives into robust integration architectures. Your contributions will determine how enterprises unify data, applications, and AI on the Workato platform. You will act as a strategic thought leader, shaping long term technical visions for critical enterprise accounts. Your expertise will guide the resolution of intricate integration challenges across diverse industries. You will ensure that architectural decisions align with both immediate business needs and future scalability. This role requires a balance of deep technical insight and the ability to articulate value to executive stakeholders. You will ultimately own the success of complex digital transformation initiatives delivered through the platform.

What you'll do
- Execute the technical validation of customer requirements for large scale integration programs.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete integration architecture diagrams and service contracts.
- Conduct discovery workshops to uncover hidden dependencies and data flows within enterprise landscapes.
- Design integration blueprints that connect applications, data, and agents reliably across hybrid environments.
- Lead rigorous code and design reviews to validate quality, security, and scalability of proposed solutions.
- Produce artefacts such as statements of work and customised onboarding plans for enterprise engagements.
- Assess production readiness and provide guidance on deployment strategies for integration solutions.
- Chart customer workflows and map requirements to specific integration components and connectors.
- Mentor engineers and architects through hands on coaching and constructive feedback during project execution.
- Coordinate with partner teams to ensure alignment on integrations, contracts, and ecosystem strategies.
- Implement observability frameworks to monitor integration health and performance in production.
- Translate partner specifications into technical interfaces that enable smooth adoption and maintenance.
- Guide best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring across the entire integration lifecycle.
Requirements
Hands on experience designing and implementing integrations in cloud environments is mandatory for this role. A deep understanding of enterprise messaging patterns, security models, and reliability principles is required to succeed. Demonstrated experience with Workato and related integration platforms in real projects is essential for candidate eligibility. The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels is a strict requirement. You must manage complex, multi stakeholder projects while maintaining uncompromising high quality standards. Proven capability in leading professional services engagements is necessary to fulfill this position. Experience with agentic workflows and autonomous systems must be part of your technical portfolio. You should be comfortable operating in fast paced environments where priorities shift frequently.
