The Partner Operations Analyst role resides within the Partner Operations team. This position owns data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics that power partner performance visibility, deal tracking, and enablement across the partner ecosystem. The role is highly analytical and data-engineering adjacent. You will build and maintain pipelines, dashboards, and data models that partner leadership and cross-functional stakeholders rely on daily.
You will also design intake structures that capture partner needs clearly and completely. You will construct data models in Snowflake that power accurate partner reporting. You will craft Sigma dashboards tracking performance, pipeline, compliance, and payouts. You will review data quality and logic to ensure insights remain reliable and precise. You will ship dashboards and documentation so stakeholders can act without constant help. You will coordinate with partners to align metrics, definitions, and improvement priorities. You will translate partner questions into SQL and dashboard changes that reveal root issues. You will guard sensitive data handling and access controls across pipelines and outputs.
This role is based in Palo Alto, California. The engagement is full-time. Compensation includes a base of $130,000, a bonus of $40,000, and equity of $30,000.
You must have three to five years of experience in operations or analytics roles. You need hands-on Snowflake querying and Sigma dashboard building capabilities. You should understand data modeling principles and how they affect partner metrics. You must be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in partner ecosystems or SaaS operations is preferred. Required skills and tools include Sigma and Snowflake. What you'll do
- Own the data infrastructure and reporting workflows that provide partner performance visibility and drive deal tracking across the partner ecosystem.
- Design and build data ingestion structures that capture partner needs in a clear, complete, and standardized format for downstream analysis.
- Construct scalable data models in Snowflake to support accurate, timely, and consistent partner reporting across business units.
- Craft and maintain Sigma dashboards that track partner performance, pipeline progression, compliance adherence, and payout calculations.
- Review data quality, logic integrity, and calculation methodologies to ensure insights remain reliable, precise, and aligned with business expectations.
- Ship dashboards, documentation, and data definitions so stakeholders can act independently without requiring constant analyst support.
- Coordinate with partner teams to align on metrics, definitions, and improvement priorities, ensuring consistency across the ecosystem.
- Translate partner questions and hypotheses into SQL transformations and dashboard adjustments to uncover root causes and trends.
- Implement and monitor data access controls and sensitive data handling practices across pipelines, dashboards, and outputs.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, validate results, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Maintain and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines to support scalability, performance, and accuracy of partner metrics.
- Conduct data investigations to diagnose discrepancies, validate sources, and resolve issues impacting partner reporting.
- Support the adoption of new analytics tools and methodologies to enhance partner enablement and operational efficiency.
- Document analytical processes, data logic, and dashboard configurations to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the partner data platform by identifying automation opportunities and process enhancements.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to partner leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Ensure all data practices comply with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate partner data needs into the broader analytics roadmap.
- Monitor dashboard usage and stakeholder feedback to iterate on design, usability, and relevance over time.
- Support ad hoc analysis and strategic projects that require advanced data synthesis and interpretation.
- Act as a data advocate for partners, promoting data-driven thinking and evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
- Bring three to five years of professional experience in operations or analytics roles within a data-intensive environment.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience querying Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
- Show proven ability to design, build, and maintain Sigma dashboards for stakeholder consumption and decision support.
- Possess a solid understanding of data modeling concepts and their direct impact on the accuracy and usability of partner metrics.
- Exhibit comfort and effectiveness when interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across distributed teams.
- Hold the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate analytical concepts and recommendations.
- Display meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Be willing to relocate to or remain in Palo Alto, California, as this role is location-specific and requires onsite presence.
