This position is designated for a highly experienced technical specialist who will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients in Japan. You will be responsible for navigating complex organizational hierarchies to uncover latent security requirements related to artificial intelligence. The role requires a deep understanding of how emerging regulations intersect with operational technology. You will translate the technical architecture of Witnessai into compelling narratives that resonate with executive leadership. A significant portion of your time will be spent architecting bespoke demonstrations that highlight the platform's adaptability. You will serve as the primary technical liaison between the client's security team and our product development group. Success in this role is defined by your ability to de-risk the adoption of AI governance for large, regulated enterprises. You will be a key driver in converting strategic conversations into actionable implementation plans.

What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with CISO and security leadership to map AI risk profiles against existing governance frameworks.
- Architect and deliver tailored proof-of-concept scenarios that validate the platform's efficacy against specific client data sets.
- Evaluate current client security infrastructures to identify integration points for SASE, firewalls, Windows, Mac, APIs, and SIEM ecosystems.
- Translate intricate product functionalities into clear business value propositions that justify investment to financial stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical workshops where you will dissect complex concepts related to model security and data privacy for mixed audiences.
- Synthesize insights from client engagements to provide structured feedback to product management on feature enhancements.
- Monitor the evolving landscape of AI regulations such as the EU AI Act and emerging Japanese guidelines to advise clients proactively.
- Utilize advanced presentation methodologies to maintain engagement during long-form virtual and on-site sessions.
- Build strategic relationships with key influencers across the security organization to champion the adoption of Witnessai.
- Lead the creation of technical artifacts such as architecture diagrams and integration guides that support the sales cycle.
- Perform competitive analysis to highlight differentiators in AI security posture management and real-time monitoring capabilities.
- Represent Witnessai at high-profile industry conferences and virtual roundtables focused on the future of secure AI deployment.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks in client environments and propose optimized configurations for the governance platform.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices for technical storytelling and solution selling in the cybersecurity domain.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of cumulative experience in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering roles.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of success selling enterprise software to highly regulated industries.
- Exhibit substantial hands-on experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platforms and their core components.
- Show familiarity with next-generation firewall technologies and the ability to discuss rule base optimization.
- Have a working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, including directory services and patch management.
- Bring expertise in API architectures, including RESTful services and schema definitions like OpenAPI or GraphQL.
- Maintain proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, specifically Splunk and QRadar.
- Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills that bridge technical depth and business acumen.
- Master the art of simplifying sophisticated technical subjects without losing critical nuance.
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills to manage concurrent engagements with strict deadlines.
- Evidence of collaborative work styles with product managers, engineers, and sales executives is mandatory.
- Compliance with the standard employment eligibility requirements to work in Japan is required.
Nice to have
- Hold a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Possivate industry-specific certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.

- This is a remote position within Japan requiring adherence to Japan Standard Time (JST).
